Abstract EN

The research aims at investigating the dimensions of the concept of the learning organization in Egyptian kindergartens.

The sample in the field study is made up of (50) women teachers in all the kindergartens at the Middle Cairo Educational Sub-Zone (21 kindergartens).

The questionnaire, which was distributed, focuses on the five dimensions suggested by Peter Senge in his discussion of the learning organization.

The results reveal an average consensus that personal mastery, team learning and mental models respectively could be found, to some extent, in the kindergartens.

But, the remaining two dimensions, shared vision and systems thinking, show low consensus.

The research ends by making some recommendations that include some practical tips which can help in the development of preschool education according to the concept of the learning organization.
