Abstract EN

The study aimed at detecting the effect of using educational software based on electronic games in the development of the recitation skills of learning difficulties pupils at sixth grade of Jeddah elementary schools.

The study sample consisted of (6) learning difficulties pupils.

The researcher designed software including six electronic games in (Tide) unit and tested them on the experimental sample to facilitate learning difficulties.

The method of the study was the quasiexperimental with one sample and the tools consisted of the improved level test and an observation checklist.

The tools were applied on the sample before and after the experiment.

The results were obtained using the non-parametric Wilcoxon test to assess significance among small samples.

The Z value reached to 2.26 in the first hypothesis which is statistically significant at 0.05 and suggested differences in the development level of the sample in the post test.

The Z values reached to 2.21 in the second hypothesis which is statistically significant at 0.05 and suggested differences in the results of the observation checklist in favor of the post test.

The study recommended using electronic educational games.
