Abstract EN

p study aimed at investigating the effect of using a training program to lollop social and emotional skills for students with learning disabilities ftoare enrolled in resource rooms in Amman fourth educational directorate ting the academic semester 2011/2012.

The study sample consists of 1^) students.

Those students were divided into two groups; experimental oiip that included (31) students and control group that included (27) duets.

The social and emotional skills scale was performed as a pretest &d post test training program was performed on the experimental group.

'Solidity and reliability were established for both instruments.

The results of : study show that there is a statistically significant difference (a=0.05) in like average answers of the experimental study sample that were measured lithe social and emotional skills of this group, in favor of the answers of his sample in terms of post testing.

There were no statistically significant Differences at (a=0.05) between social and emotional skills posttest grades 'itliibuted to the interaction between age, sex and group.

It is recommended ftliat the Ministry of Education use these program’s for the students with jlearning disabilities in all schools in Jordan
