There is no doubt that the rapidly growing changes taking place in the world since the nineties of the past century at all levels: economic, social, political, cultural and technological are considered to be the embodiment of what is called ''Globalization'' Globalization represents a new mechanism used by global capitalism forces to impose control and dominance on the entire international community.

The concept of Global Village is not only an economic or political concept but also a cultural one.

The key aim of this research is to shed spotlight on the impact of digital products usage on social relations in general, and on family ones in particular.

It also explores the impact of such products on the role of family in social upbringing through analysis of literature dealing with that subject at both local and international levels.

It also handles the subject from a sociological perspective with a view to identifying negative aspects to envisage the future of the phenomena in the light of current and future changes.

Research sums up with that internet use has both negative and positive aspects.

The key positive aspect is the easy communication between family members, whereas key negatives are the closed circuits social networking sites have created between family members.
