Abstract EN

is a standard for video compression developed by the ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group (VCEG) and the ISO^EC JTC^yMoving Picture Experts Group (MPEG).

However, the computational complexity of H.264/AVC contribuieda/lot to^tnedelay time of multi-screen sharing system.

In this paper, the motion estimation algorithms provided in X264 have beenanalyshdi and an optimized algorithm has been proposed, this optimized algorithm can reduce a lot of unnecessary cbmputat)on.And more, this paper designed and implemented the multi-screen sharing system with the improved encoder.

Experimen/f results show that the proposed method has increased the encoding speed and decreased the delay time, while incurring little'; if any, lo/ytn-quality.
