Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to select and present a proposed model of strategic planning system.The model included system design variables, organizational Variables and evaluating the efficiency of the system variables.

The design variables has included seven main variables namely, objective characteristics, internal factors, external factors control philosophy, the degree of participation in planning and degree of flexibility of plans.

Organization variables included support of planning and available for it evaluating systems variables included six standards for evaluation namely, improving performance in short term.

And long term, prediction of future, and avoidance of problems.

Outdo competitors and satisfaction with system.

The result of testing the study model indicated that the model is able to differentiate between effective and ineffective planning systems as regard to four standards of the six standards included in the significant difference of the planning system characteristics in relation to the evaluation standard used.

At so inculcators and limits of the study was discussed in addition to proposed future studies.
