Ancient Arabic poetics attempted, within its historical context and cognitive system to detect and determine some intertextual relations, such as plagiarism, borrowing, entrenchment, involvement, and parody.
Intertextuality in the western context has given rise to a new concept in order to describe possible relationships between texts.
This study is an attempt to establish a critical dialogue between concepts of ancient Arabic poetics and the foundations of intertextuality, from an impartial position.

La poétique arabe ancienne a tenté, dans le cadre de son contexte historique et son système cognitif de déceler les relations intertextuelles, ce qui lui a permis d’en déterminer un bon nombre, tel le plagiat, l’emprunt, l’enchâssement, l’implication, et la parodie.
La notion d’intertextualité occidentale a tenté de créer un concept moderne pour désigner les relations possibles entre les textes.
Cette étude a pour objectif d’instaurer un dialogue critique entre les concepts de la poétique arabe ancienne et les fondements de l’intertextualité, en mettant une distance objective entre les deux, sans narcissisme ni éblouissement par l’autre
