الربو اضطراب مناعي مزمن في الطرق الهوائية.
و يعد Regulated upon (RANTES) Activation, Normal T-cell Expressed and Secreted جاذبا كيميائيا هاما في الربو.
لذا هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى قياس مستويات RANTES المصلية لدى مرضى ربو سوريين.
شملت دراستنا 67 مريض ربو (40 مريضا بحالة الهجمة و 27 مريضا بحالة هدأة) و 21 شواهد أصحاء.
قيست مستويات RANTES و مستويات IgE الكلي المصلية بطريقة ELISA.
كانت مستويات RANTES و قيم IgE كلي أعلى بشكل يعتد به لدى مجموعة الهجمة الحادة (16060.15 ± 34288.16 بكغ / مل) (0.05 > P)، (265.08 ± 76.46محطة دولية / مل) (0.05 > P)، على الترتيب] مقارنة بالأصحاء (1594.49 ± 2269.33 بكغ / مل)، (45.03 ± 55.42 وحدة دولية / مل)، على لقريب] و مرضى الهدأة [(7555.86 ± 8010.0 بكغ / مل)، (206.58 ± 299.74 وحدة دولية / مل)، على لترتيب].
و كاستنتاج، يلعب ال RANTES دورا مهما في حالات لربو الحادة أكثر منه في الهدأة، و بالثاني له دور في الآليات الالتهابية الربوية، لذا يمكن استخدام قيم RANTES المصلية كواصم في التقييم السري للربو.
Abstract EN
Asthma is chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways.
RANTES (Regulated upon Activation, Normal T-cell Expressed and Secreted) is an important chemotaxis in asthma.
This study aimed to measure serum RANTES in Syrian asthma patients.
Our study included 67 asthma patients (40 acute asthma patients and 27 stable asthma patients) and 21 healthy controls.
Serum RANTES and total IgE were assessed by ELISA.
Serum levels of RANTES and total IgE were significantly higher in acute asthma patients [(34288.16±16060.15pg/mL) (P<0.05),(476.46±265.08IU/mL) (P<0.05), respectively] compared to healthy controls [(2269.33±1594.49 pg/mL) (55.42±45.03 IU/mL), respectively] and stable asthma [(8010.09±7555.86 pg/mL)(299.74±206.58 IU/mL), respectively].
As conclusion, RANTES has important role in acute asthma more than in stable, subsequently has a role in asthmatic inflammatory mechanisms, so serum RANTES values may be used as a marker in clinical evaluation of asthma.
