Abstract EN

The problem of the study Is there a relationship between some parental treatment styles (acceptance- torlance- rejection…) and self efficacy to sample of study? Aims: This current study aims to discover the relation between parental treatment and self efficacy to sample from (13- 15) years.

Methodology: The researcher will use relational descriptive method of comparative between self efficacy and parental treatment styles as perceived by children.

Sample: The study sample included sample number of (200) students of the preparatory schools in Helwan and will take into account when selecting the sample the following conditions: 1.

The age of the members of the sample is between (13- 15) years.

To include both males and females in order to compare between them.

Tools: 1.

The measure of self efficacy prepared by (researcher).

The measure of sons opinions in the parents' treatment.

The hypotheses of the study: 1.

There was a statistically significant correlation between the degrees of the study sample on a scale of self- efficacy and parental treatment styles as perceived by children.

There are statistically significant differences between the degree of males and female.

There are statistically significant differences between the degree of males and females on the measure of parental treatment styles as perceived by children.

Results: 1.

There was a statistically significant correlation between the degrees of the study sample on a scale of self- efficacy and methods of parental treatment as perceived by the children.

There is not statistically differences significant between males and females on a scale of self- efficacy.

There are statistically significant differences between the degree of males and females on the measure of parental treatment styles as perceived by children.

Different degrees of the study sample on measure of self- efficacy differ according to their grades on the measure of the cultural level of social (Low- Medium- High) for parents.
