Abstract EN

Two types of bacteria E.coli and P.mirabilis were isolated from patients with urinary tract infection .

The results showed that the isolation ratio was 30 (37.5%) of E.coli , while P.mirabilis was 14(17.5%) from the total number of specimens.

Furthermore, It has identified by diagnostic methods: culturing , microscopic ,biochemical and confirmed by VITEK-2 compact system .

It has been clarified that haemagglutination properties of P.mirabilis isolated from clinical samples were determined .

It has a reaction with red blood cells of human group O+, the percentage was reached which has ability for haemagglutination 42.86%, 50%, 7.14% to MSHA, MRHA and NOHA respectively ,While E.coli has been a different results that was reached 30 %, 26.67 and 43.33 from type MSHA, MRHA and NOHA as well.

In addition, the majority of bacteria have a high ability of adherence on epithelial cell in urinary system , E.coli has been resulted that reached about 20-110 cell for each epithelial cell, but P.mirabilis has been reached 30-60 cell for each one.

Also, It was worthy mention that has investigated on adherence factors by genetic methods .

This research was noticed that these bacteria E.coli and P.mirabilis have a gene expression ability for afaB and fimH in each one .

Finally, it was detected a significant differences between these isolates.
