Synthesis, chemical reactivity and biocidal effects of pyrazolines containing 1,2,4- triazine moiety are reviewed.

Synthesis of these systems have been deduced from hetero annelation of hydrazine, acid hydrazide, azide, and/or aminopyrazolines with aza-reagents.

The unique featersbiological significance and important applications of these constituents are also reported
