Abstract EN

This study tries to assess local maternal knowledge of neonatal G6PD deficiency in Hilla city.

Assessing such knowledge and awareness can prevent complications of G6PD deficiency as this has an influence on improving approaches for prevention of hemolytic crises and neonatal jaundice in addition to removing any myths and wrong beliefs especially safety of breast feeding.
