Professional Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance The Professional Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance targets the participants in the programs of professional certifications issued by the General Council, either directly or through its accredited agents and marketers worldwide. • The Professional Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance targets the participants who have already passed the exam of the Certified Islamic Specialist Programs, and obtained the certificate of qualification with a success rate ranging from 50% and above in the Certified Islamic Specialist certificates. • Any candidate who has obtained a qualification certificate or a certificate of the Certified Islamic Specialist in the following areas of specialization is eligible to register in the Professional Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance 1. The Certified Islamic Banker 2. Four core professional certificates including the Certified Islamic Specialist in Islamic Capital markets, the Certified Islamic Specialist in Trade Finance, the Certified Islamic Specialist in risk management, and the Certified Islamic Specialist in Takaful insurance. 3. Two of the elective certificates offered by the General Council, including the Certified Islamic Specialist in Accounting, the Certified Islamic Specialist in Sharia Auditing, and the Certified Islamic Specialist in Corporate Governance and Compliance. Applicants shall send copies of the required certificates to the International Islamic Finance Training Center. Applicants registering in the Professional Diploma in Islamic Finance get a special discount in the form of exemption from the registration fees for all courses, core or elective, and examinations for the Certified Islamic Specialist
