Abstract EN

This study seeks to explore and appreciate the poetry of Abu al - Qasim al - Shabbi.

It attempts to unravel the unexplored aesthetic value of his poem“Prayers at the Temple of Love” through investigating the various constructions and patterns used by the poet and its ability to create linguistic paradigms that reflect the inner thoughts of the poet.

The linguistic structures that embody these thoughts surpass the common modes of expression to a higher level through the poet’s use of metaphor, simile, repetition, manipulation and parallelism.

The study attempts to apply an approach in light of the concept of language deviation.
