Constantine K. Zurayk, more than conquerors (Beirut : [n. pb.], 1968), pp. 66-72. this address is selected from the many addresses which the author delivered at the American University of Beirut during his long tenure in it as teacher or administrator (1930. 1977). it was delivered on the founders day convocation, April 28, 1960 and is typical of other addresses or reports he wrote about this in stitution. it is the author's belief that the "abiding truths" stressed in it apply. in one way or another. to all university institutions today.
