The concept of self-efficacy is take a major center in the interpretation of behavior.
And more tasks facing the adolescences is the development self-identity to be more stable, so it has been identified current research problem in knowing relationship between self - efficacy and styles face identity crisis among preparatory stage students in Iraq.
The aims of this search is known self-efficacy, and known methods face a crisis of identity, know the differences between the methods of face identity crisis among a sample search according to the level of self - efficacy, and know the relationship between self – efficacy and styles face identity crisis among preparatory stage students.
The sample included 222 male and female students.
Scale was used Schwarzer 1993 to measure self - efficacy.
The measure objectively arranged identity is (a) prepared by Marcia and others 1979 for measurement methods face identity crisis, has indicated results that sample with a low level of self - efficacy but uses positive approaches in the face of a crisis of identity and that there is statistically significant differences in the stylistic achievement identity and moratorium identity according to self – efficacy as there are statistically significant positive relationship between the self – efficacy and all of the style of the achieve of identity and moratorium identity when the relationship was no statistically significant for each of the defused of the identity and style foreclosed.
