The first article is titled “A Review of Erich Fromm’s Life and Works”.

The writer points to the unique characteristics in Erich Fromm’s personality in terms of motivating a profound and dynamic cognitive movement in Europe and the USA, not to mention his works translated into Arabic and other Oriental languages.

It can be said that he was one of the psychologists who attempted to form a system more appropriate than Freud’s in dealing with our contemporary life.

None was more prolific or more influential than him, according to the writer.

Even John Homer Schaar– one of the harshest critics to Fromm- had to admit that Fromm’s writings call forth his name in any serious discussion about the modern social problems
