أثر عجز الموازنة على نمو الاقتصاد الفلسطيني (1996-2013)‎

Abstract EN

The study aims to declare the impact of budget deficit on the growth of Palestinian economy "1996-2013".

The model used Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS), results shows along-period correlation between (local revenues, external revenues, current expenditures, development expenditures) and the "average economic growth",.

The study concluded that, there is a negative statically significant relationship at level α≤0.05, between local revenue & average economic growth, and positive between "current expenditures, development expenditures" & average economic growth, while there was no statically significant relationship between "external revenues, political situation" & economic growth average, with noted that the value of the coefficient of determination average 50% and this means that the independent variables at model explain 50% of the change in the dependent variable "economic growth average" in the light of all other factors constant, the rest is 50% referred to other factors.
