Abstract EN

Privatization means transfer of ownership of the property from the government to privately owned entities.

The research problem is to a assess the success or failure of Application privatization policy in dealing with the obstacles facing the development sectors in Sudan.

The study included a set of hypotheses, including, Lack of proper application of the privatization program in the institutions that have been privatized contributed to the inability of these institutions to do the developmental role required of them.

The study aimed to assess the experience of the public sector reform in the Sudan through activation of the developmental role of the private sector as well as to determine the concept of ‘privatization’, and the statement of the appropriate methodology to be applied.

The study found a range of results, including most of the institutions that have been sold have weakened the country's economy and contributed to the richness of the new owners.

Privatization without an integrated vision and goals clear have impact on industrial sector, agricultural sector, services sectors and Workers sector.
