Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the current problems faced by the students of practicum and its relation with some qualitative variables like sex and specialization, in the diploma in education program at the Faculty of Education and Arts, Taif University, Turabah Branch.To achieve that the goals of the research, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and used a questionnaire that is composed of four main axes under which a group of 32 phrases falls.

The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (100) students.

The results showed that the problems of teaching assistants are most prominent, which got a big questionnaire score.

As for “school-related problems”, “problems related to students and teachers” and “academic advisor problems”, the total score came with moderate results.

The results also showed a significant difference between the mean practical education problems attributed to sex (male/female), in favor of males while no statistically significant differences appeared due to the variable of academic specialization (scientific/literary) .
