Abstract EN

The current study aims to introduce the relationship between wife’s recognition of her duties and rights and her social and psychological wellness.

Moreover, from the responses of the sample individuals, the study aims to find out wether there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), which may be caused by the variables of marriage duration, education, family income, and wife’s job.

The methodology of the study depends on the descriptive way in analysing data which has been collected by the tool of questionnaires.

The study sample involved 228 wives.

The results reveal a high level of both wife’s recognition of their rights and duties, and their psychological and social wellness in general.

In addition, there are statistically significant differences among the sample wives in terms of recognition of duties and rights and pscychological and social wellness when it comes to some variables of the study.

Moreover, the results show a positive relationship between recognition of duties and rights and psychological and social wellness among the sample individuals.

According to these results, the study is concluded with some suggestions and recommendations.
