Abstract EN

The study aimed to examine the level of adjusting to the university life among Al-Quds Open University students and its relationship with some variables, namely, gender, college, educational level and GPA.

To realize the hypotheses of study, the researcher used the" adjustment to university" questionnaire prepared by the researcher ,he applied it on a sample consisted of 320 students males and females distributed on the different variables of study, The results has resulted in a differences between the two gender in psychological adjusting dimension and the total score in favor of males, and differences were found in the general consensus to the advantage of humanities faculties.

Another differences were found in the degree of consensus in favor of those with high rates, and the social adjusting came in the first rank followed by the psychological harmony, third was the educational adjusting.

The study also showed that the general compatibility with the academic society was over average.

Finally, the researcher has recommended some of the recommendations related.
