Abstract EN

Algeria as a developing country seeks to achieve sustainable economic development, but it is experiencing weakness in various vital sectors because of the complexity of the transformations taking place in the world and the developments on competition and excellence.

To support competitiveness of Algerian institutions, it is important to resort to the mechanisms of modern upbringing and of competitive intelligence, which is the key to strengthening the competitive position of economic unity through the development of products and services.

This increased opportunities for the introduction of new forms, which leads to reduce costs and increase profits and opportunities, both domestic and international.

This study identifies the effect of applying the standard systems to support economic intelligence and the achievement of competitive economic institutions in Algeria.

In this study I collected data from twenty leading institutions in export sector through a through a questionnaire prepared for this purpose, with some interviews.

Findings acknowledged the existence of a high correlation and relationship between competitive intelligence and dimensions of competitiveness.

Thus, the researcher recommends efficient methods to improve and strengthen competitiveness of enterprises and institutions.
