Abstract EN

The purpose of this study to investigate the reality of E-library and the role that libraries play in the Sudan from the point of view of library staff.

One of the objectives of this study is evaluating the library site and to provide suggestions and recommendations.

As The significance of this study is to develop solutions for the negatives.

Descriptive and comparative approach was been applied in this study and adopted in data collection questionnaire, observation and interview and researcher experience.

Through answering the questions of the study finding most results including weakness of the E- library in Sudan because they still suffer from deficiencies in most basic components, led by funding which causes many of the problems which reflected negatively on human resources.

The study's recommendations are establishment electronic library and provide a future vision represented in Sudan began owns some of the basics of infrastructure for the library electronic If its followed these basics by policies such as legal and human requirements, So the march and progress, development and catch with industrialized countries and also the possess of advanced knowledge institutions require attention to E- library.
