المعالجة القانونية لجريمة التزوير التقليدي في القانون العراقي

Abstract EN

This paper discusses the forgery crime which is a one of the dangerous crimes that threaten public confidence which people give to the significant tools, especially if they‘re element supposed (documents) of committing this crime, at the same time tool which has direct contact with the legal positions of individuals through its role in proving their rights and obligations.

This crime might be committed against official documents whether they are national or foreign by public official who is competent in issuing or by normal person.

This crime might be committed against ordinary documents which the people prepare and organize as well.

In all cases, the Iraqi legislator has put a necessary punishment which is ranging from detention to imprisonment for every case according to approach in which the Iraqi legislator is distinct from the other Arabic statutes in terms of the wording, manner and scope.
