English Abstract
Software testing is a prime phase in the software project development lifecycle; different types of testing have been used to detect bugs, errors and defects and to reduce the development cost, the time of the projects lifecycle and effort of the software development process.
Testing is also important to meet the desired requirements of the software system.
We do software testing to report, document and verify code and design analysis.
In our thesis, we propose a new approach for running load testing in the development phase rather than delaying it to the unit testing.
The proposed way aims at identifying performance issues upstream in the development phase instead of catching the same issues downstream in the testing phase.
In order to measure, test and justify our hypothesis, we have carried out a comparative performance study of testing results of two implementations, one following the new approach and the other one following traditional approach.
In our thesis, we took a case study from a software company called “Intellect”, and we offered them our proposed way; the case study is on one of their software projects “360excellence”.
Applying load testing was applied it aimed to at each unit; find errors in the development phase and to fixing them during the development phase before the quality assurance team started testing.
As a result, we found that the proposed approach will decrease the projects, lifecycle.
