English Abstract

Software Agent Platform (SAP) plays an important role in electronic commerce (e-commerce).

This (SAP) has received a great deal of attention.

Multi-Agents (MA) have provided considerable excitement in the research community, but this did not turn attention to the application in the real world.

Although agent platforms have been in the past few years, their actual implementation is still in its early stages.

Some of platforms have already been abandoned whereas others continue releasing new versions.

This vast amount of platform options leads to a high degree of heterogeneity.

Hence, people interested in using (SAP) should choose which platform to use in order to benefit from agent technology.

One wants to benefit from mobile agent technology to develop distributed applications and the decision about which platform to use.

In this study, we provide an evaluation of it through compared agent platforms.

Evaluation Criteria of agent platforms is needed to find the best options The researcher uses a comparison and a qualitative evaluation of ten platforms used in the field of e- commerce in the form of five tables, and each table has a set of parameters that in the chapter three.

In chapter four is a quantitative evaluation of the platforms; they are more used in the field of e- commerce four platforms.

The researcher compares the platforms that had an extensive set of experiments conducted on them in previous studies
