Abstract EN

The research aims to link methods of western Contemporary Linguists in the Syntactical Semantic study, and effort of Arabic Scholars in the Study of Sentence Level; to detect excellence of Arab Scientists, notable as a pioneer in linguistic studies, as well as finding out characteristics of modern prose’ syntactic structure which matches the context, to convey the linguistic message of Sheikh Tantawi which implies social contexts, educational values, and human experiences.

The research adopts descriptive approach.

It consists of introduction, preface, three axes and conclusion.

The introduction shows the basics of the research.

The preface displays the theoretical framework; the first axis shows patterns of Simple Sentence in prose of Tantawi.

The second axis studies the patterns of Compound Sentence.

The third axis explores patterns of Complex Sentence.

The conclusion highlights the most important findings and recommendations.
