Abstract EN

In the framework of the Glauber optical limit approximation (OLA), the elastic differential cross section (?????⁄) for protons on halo nuclei has been studied.

The results have been displayed at the intermediate energy range of the incident protons.

The target nuclei are taken to be one–neutron halo (INH) and two–neutron halo (IINH).

The calculations are carried for Gaussian – Gaussian (???), Gaussian – Oscillator (???) and Gaussian – 2s (????) densities functions for each considered target.

An analytic expression of the phase shift function (?????; ?≡??,?,???) has been derived.

The in – medium and free – medium effects are taken into account and their results are compared for the three considered densities.

The obtained results are analyzed and compared with the available experimental data.
