A survey was carried out to evaluate the drinking water quality of AL-Beda City, Derna City and AL-Marg City in AL-Gabal AL-Akhdar Region, Libya.
Physical, chemical and microbiological analysis were conducted to compare the samples analysis with those of the standard values of the Libyan drinking water and the World Health Organization (WHO).
The results showed that the three water sources confirm the Libyan drinking water in many aspects, including the total solid soluble salts ions (TDS) as well as heavy metal contents.
However, the bacteriological analysis is only valid after conducting the necessary water treatment.
