Abstract EN

The research aims at identifying the reality of scientific publishing of forensic science in Saudi Arabia and present a proposal of publication requirements.

The sample consisted of (302) faculty members of forensic science departments in Saudi universities.

The researcher developed a questionnaire to investigate the publishing requirements in forensic science.

The results revealed the weakness of scientific publishing of forensic science in Saudi Arabia, the number of books that were published in the forensic science was (67) books (12.4%), and (745) researches (60%).

The research also Identified the difficulties that face this publication such as Hyperbole in Condition of publishing, Scarcity of specialized magazines, and the lack of full-time researchers for scientific research.

The research presented a proposed mechanism to improve this publication through reformulation publication cycle [arbitration, Publishing, marketing].

In light of the results some recommendations and suggestions were presented.
