This study aimed at defining The Degree of Acquiring Employability Skills as Perceived by Pre-vocational Education Teachers and their Schools' Principals, and whether these perspectives are different due to the independent variables: Gender, educational experience, and qualification.
The population and the sample of the study included all (192) schools' principals and and (192) pre-vocational teachers as shown by Mafraq Educational Area's records 2013/2014.
The sample of the study covers all the population.
The researcher distributed the instrument to all individuals in the study's population; however pre-vocational teachers responded to the questionnaire as a rate of return in pre-vocational education teachers (91%).
To achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher has developed the employability skills questionnaire which consisted of (44) items ,divided into five domains.
The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified.
The collected data was analyzed and the means, the standard deviations, and t-test were calculated.
The results of the study showed the following: The Degree of Acquiring Employability Skills as Perceived by Pre-vocational Education Teachers and their Schools' Principals as high on all domains except computer skills.
there were no significant differences (α = 0.05) on pre-vocational education teachers and schools' principals perspectives due to the independent variables: Gender, educational experience, and qualifications.
Finally, based on these findings, some recommendations are presented.
