Working in firms that produces sells prohibited items not as main line of business : occasionally selling alcohol

Fatawa Question

Bismillah Wa Salatu Wasalam Ala Rasululillah. My dear respected Faqih Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa barakatu. I am a student at college. I work part-time in the weekend at a supermarket in England. My main job is collecting trellis and baskets but occasionally I have to work on the cash till. When on the cash till, some customers buy alcohol and I have to pick the bottle up with my hand and scan it through the machine. My question is whether this action (i. e., actually grasping the bottle of alcohol) is Haram. I can assure you I do this with hatred. Jazzakullah Notes : I would just like to make clear that because I’m just a student I do not vitally need the money and there is always the option of quitting and finding another job and Allah is sufficient as a provider of my Rizq.
