Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the values contained in the Arabic language textbook for the grades three basic middle of the stage of basic education in Jordan, and arrange the fields of values, which has The researcher used content analysis at the level of the phrase and the sentence and paragraph as a base for the analysis.

As well as the instrument of the study has six domains of Values.

The results showed that the Arabic language textbook for fourth grade has (89) values, the love of homeland and loyalty were the most frequent value.

The fifth included (79), the value the most frequent were the values of faith, and loyalty to the homeland, (74) values were found in the Arabic language textbook for sixth grade, the most frequent value was performing worship.

On the other hand, the arrangement of values’ domains was as follows; the religious domain came in the first rank for the three grades.

In contrast, the theoretical cognitive domain came in the last rank for fourth, and fifth grade the aesthetic and social.

Finally, the health domain came as in the last rank for the sixth grade.
