English Abstract

Industrial product design in Jordan is affected by many dimensions so the researcher tried to shed light on some of these factors from managerial level point view in Jordan company perspectives. This work investigates the relationship between Industrial product design and quality Management and there effect on the cost, the final product quality, and the effect of the quality management on the product design. Researcher used the descriptive analytical method which is based on the collected data via a special questionnaire which has Eight questions listed in the appendix I of this work and mentioned in section 1-7 of this work. The research sample was selected randomly based on demographic variables (age, gender, academic qualification, and Job Title) from the population of the study equivalent to 50 Managers. The results of the study showed that the field of the relationship between industrial Product Design and Reliability came the lowest field in favor of the employees sample answers with the mean (3.48) and standard deviation (.54) this refer to the Quality Management has a vital role in Industrial Product Design but sometimes it cannot determine the ability of product to perform without unacceptable failures This don't ensure at any material of product for do any job should be able to provide the information in a consistent and dependable manner that will help customer. While the field of the relationship between Industrial product design and durability came the highest field in favor of the employees sample answers with the mean (4.12) and standard deviation ( .59) and this refers to quality Management is an integral part of product development it can determine product lifetime and benefit level achieved by its utilization up to the common need for its substitution, also there is no a relationship between Industrial Product Design and Quality Management in all fields due to (Gender, the scientific level, and Job title) except the field of (The relationship between Quality Management and customer satisfaction) due to (Age) in flavor of (from 41-50 years) and (The relationship between Industrial Product Design and Aesthetics) due to (Age) favor of (from 51-60 years) this result refer to consistent with the logic that the (from 51-60 years) or (from 41-50 years) managers became, the better would be his/her perception of Quality Management at design process.
