Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف الى مستوى الذكاء الانفعالي لدى طلبة كلية علوم الرياضه في جامعة مؤتة, وفقا لمتغيرات النوع الاجتماعي, السنة الدراسية, التقدير الدراسي, و الرغبة في التخصص, استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي بصورته المسحية لملائمته لطبيعة و اهداف هذه الدراسة, و تم استخدام مقياس الذكاء الانفعالي لبار–اون و الذي ترجمه الهاجري2007, و المكون من 60 فقره و ستة مجالات, و تكونت العينه من (415) طالب و طالبة في كلية علوم الرياضة / جامعة مؤتة, و تم استخراج المتوسطات الحسابية و الانحرافات المعيارية و تحليل التباين المتعدد.

و أظهرت النتائج أن الطلبه في جامعه مؤته يتمتعون بمستوى متوسط من الذكاء الانفعالي, كما اظهرت النتائج ايضا وجود فروق ذات دلاله إحصائية في المتغيرات و لصالح الاناث على الذكور, و كذلك على متغير السنه الدراسية و لصالح السنه الرابعة, و ايضا على متغير التقدير و لصالح الامتياز, و عدم وجود فروق ذات دلاله إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الرغبة في التخصص.

English Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the level emotional intelligence of sport sciences colleges' students at Mu'tah university according to gender, academic year, GPA, and the mode of major selection.

The researcher used a descriptive approach using a survey method to achieve the porposes of the study.

The sample size of the study consisted of 415 male and female undergraduate students.

The date was obtained through the Bar-on Questionnaire that include 60 items which distributed into six dimensions.

The mean, standard deviation, and multivariate of analysis were used to analyze the data.

The results of the study indicated that the students of the sport Sciences Colleges students have a middle level of emotional intelligence.

Moreover, statistically significant difference was found between male and female students in the total of emotional intelligence score, Female student had higher significant scores.

Furthermore, some significan difference appeared regarding the academic year, whereas senior students had significantly higher scores than freshman, sophomore, and junior in the general mode dimension.

Concernin the GPA, excellent students, in general, had higher significant score than the other students however, there were no significant differences amoge the students according to the mode of major selection.
