I have received an offer for a paid internship at Barclays, in the compliance department. I will have a graduate level role, making sure that the bank stays within financial regulation set by the UK’s financial regulators. This will include verifying that financial products that the bank offers are in regulation. this is a general description of compliance work, but it varies between departments.
