Abstract EN

This study attempts to point out the role of the Umayyad Intelligence system in achieving the internal and external goals of the Umayyad Caliphate.

The study is composed of four sections.

The first section traces the roots of the Umayyad Intelligence system.

The second discusses the interior Umayyad intelligence system, whereas the third discusses the foreign intelligence system.

The last section presents Abdul Hameed Al-Katib’s advice, which is an ideal summery of the Umayyad intelligence thought.

Finally, the study results and recommendations are presented along with the conclusion
