Abstract EN

This study aims to explain the idea of the homeland representations in "the She-Camel of Allah" novel, which is written by the novelist Ibrahim Al-Koni.

In this novel, many expressions represent the marginalized nation of the great desert / Sahara the homeland of the Tuareg.

This marginalized minority has suffered from the dominance of other countries like Mali and France.

The researcher found that the novelist Al-koni tried to highlight the image of the lost homeland when he relied on the notion of cultural antagonism especially between the following opposites: reason and madness, sleeplessness and wakefulness, physical and symbolic, stillness and musical, impact and wind and water and blood.

Both the physical geography and the spiritual mystic world were the most important formations for the novelist, in addition to that is the novelist attempt to historicize the Tuareg homeland , their traditions, their revolutions against the French occupation and his attempt to express the identity of this marginalized minority through his talks and discussion in this novel.
