Is gym membership allowed ?
Fatawa Question
To my understanding, Breakdown cover is not allowed due to Gharar. Does the same principle apply to gym membership, in that I am paying a monthly fee when the usage of the service is not known, I may use the gym every day or I may not use it at all but at the end I still pay my monthly fee, similar to breakdown cover ?
