Buying share, stocks and mutual funds : investing in the stock market

Fatawa Question

In the name of Allah, most gracious, most merciful. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon his messenger. Dear brother in Islam, I wish to ask a few questions : 1. I want to buy a house in Sydney, but all the banks in Australia are in volved with charging interest on the term of the loan. My question is, is it considered Riba in Islam if I buy a house and paying interests for 25 years ? 2. What is Islam's view on the stock market ? I am interested in investing in financial markets, but wish to find out more from Islam's perspective. I thank you for the answers. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon his messenger.
