Use of credit cards

What about possession and use of credit cards such as Visa / Master card etc. where you may avoid paying interest when paying by due date. Is this way of using credit cards and avoid paying interest permissible ? Happy Eid (in advance). Jazak Allah Khair. Wassalam,
