We discuss an extension of the Hamilton-Jacobi theory to nonholonomic mechanics with a particular interest in its application to exactly integrable equations of motion.
We saw that the equations of motion that obtained by the Hamilton-Jacobi method are equivalent to those obtained by Lagrange-d’Alembert principle.
