Dearest Dr. Monzer, As-Salamu `Alaykum, Could you kindly reply to the following question ? As-Salamu `Alaykum, I take life insurance solely to save income tax levied otherwise on my salary at maturity they give back the money invested plus the vested bonus. I want to know whether the bonus given is Halal or not.
