Arabic Abstract

تقدم هذه الاطروحه دراسة وصفيه و تحليليه لأبرز التقنيات المستخدمه في الشبكات اللاسلكيه التي تستخدم تقنية "متعدد الوصول بتقسيم الشيفره" (CDMA).

و من أهم التقنيات المطروحة في هذه الرسالة تقنية تدمج بين "متعدد الوصول بتقسيم الشيفرة (CDMA)" مع تقنيه "التقسيم الترددي المتعامد (OFDM)"، مثل هذه التقنيه لفتت انتباه الكثير من الباحثين خصوصا و أنها من التقنيات التي رشحت للاستخدام في شبكات الجيل الرابع (4G).

فيما يخص قنوات الارسال المستخدمه عند دراسة و تحليل اداء النظام (OFDM-CDMA) تم دراسة نوعين من القنوات: قناة غاوس (AWGN) و قناة Rayleigh (المضمحلة)، و تم تحليل النتائج باستخدام برمجية Matlab و مقارنتها مع مختلف انواع التضمين مثل (M-ary PSK ,QPSK, offset-QPSK).

النتائج اظهرت اداء اكثر كفاءة من حيث : اقل نسبة الخطأ (BER) ، و معدل نقل بيانات اعلى، و نسبة الاشارة الى الضوضاء (SNR) افضل.

تتأثر الشبكات اللاسلكية بكافة انواعها بعوامل تؤثر على جودة الاشارة المرسله.

و من ابرز التقنيات التي استخدمت في هذه الاطروحة لتحسين جودة الاشارة عند الاستقبال تقنيتي diversity وequalization بمختلف انواعها.

في هذه الاطروحة أيضا تم دراسة ابرز و أهم مشكله تبرز اثناء استخدام تقنية (OFDM) و هي مشكلة مستويات القدره (power) العالية عند الارسال.

تم دراسة اهم التقنيات المستخدمه للتقليل من مستويات القدره العالية في هذه الانظمة لكن بعض هذه التقنيات تسبب زيادة نسبيه في نسبة الخطأ (BER).

English Abstract

In this thesis many techniques for the wireless communication systems that used code division multiple access (CDMA) are considered ,described, and analyzed.

Combining code division multiple access (CDMA) technique with Orthogonal Frequency Division multiplexing (OFDM) technique is the most promising technique that supports high data rate transmission especially in the mobile systems, Multi code technique can be also used to improve the overall performance of the wireless systems.

The system performance is evaluated in different channel types using AWGN, Rayleigh fading channel, the system performance is also evaluated in different modulation schemes such as : QPSK , offset-QPSK , and M-ary PSK using Matlab software.

The signal in wireless systems is significantly distorted or faded.

Powerful techniques such as diversity and equalizer using different algorithms as : Zero- Forcing ( ZF) equalizer, Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) equalization, Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC), and Equal-Gain Combining (EGC) are also used during analysis in this thesis to improve the signal reception process in the wireless environments.

The results showed an improvement in term of : BER, SNR, and high speed communications capability.

OFDM technique has drawback called high peak –to average power ratio (PAPR), to overcome this problem many techniques are considered in this thesis to reduce the high power levels , the results showed that the power level is reduced with a small degradation in Bit Error Rate (BER).
