أثر التخطيط الاستراتيجي على إدارة الأزمات : دراسة تطبيقية على دائرة الأرصاد الجوية الأردنية

Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the impact of the strategic planning on the crisis management in the Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD).

The descriptive analytic approach was followed by using a questionnaire.

The study sample consisted of 103 employees of JMD.

The major finding of this study was that, the high level of strategic planning on the crisis management was practiced and applied in the JMD.

In addition the independent variable of the strategic planning with its all dimensions had a remarkable impact on the dependant variable of the crisis management in the JMD.

The academic qualification was found to produce statistically significant difference on the application of strategic planning in crisis management.

The study recommended that all dimensions of the strategic planning should be equally applied at JMD and that JMD should prepare crisis management teams in advance.
