English Abstract

The objective of the study was to investigate the most common classroom interactions in Islamic education teaching from basic 9th grade students at Kerak Governorate and their attitudes towards it.

The sample of the study consisted of (200) 9th grade male and female students.

A (48) items questionnaire distributing on (4) domains: uni –direction communication, bi- direction communication, tri- direction communication and multi- direction communication, and a (40) items attitudes scale distributing on the same domains were administrated to the sample of the study.

The results of the study indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) due to gender.

As for the students' attitudes towards patterns of classroom interactions, they were moderate for all classroom interaction patterns.

There were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) due to gender in students' attitudes, in favor of female students.

Based on these results, some recommendations were discussed.
