في هذا الكتاب (الحرية في المرة القادمة) يصف الصحافي المشهور و مخرج الأفلام (جون بلجر) كيف أن الناس الشجعان الذين يحاربون ليحرروا أنفسهم يلمحون الحرية في الغالب، و لكنهم يلمحونها ليروها تسلب منهم فقط، و هو يتحدى الإنسان الغربي أن ينظر في المرآة أو إلى أفعال حكوماته ليبحث عن المصدر الحقيقي للكثير من خوف العالم و انعدام الأمن فيه، و للإرهاب، فهم باسم شعوبهم يشتغلون وفق جدول أعمال خفي مثلما جرى في (دييغو غارسيا) و هي جزيرة كالجنة في المحيط الهندي عمدت الحكومة البريطانية إلى طرد جميع سكانها طردا سريا و وحشيا : لتمهد الطريق لقيام قاعدة عسكرية أمريكية ضخمة هوجمت منها أفغانستان و العراق.

English Abstract

In “Freedom Next Time” the celebrated journalist, and filmmaker john Pilger describes how brave people who are battling to free themselves, often glimpse freedom, only see it taken away.

Here, he challenges people of the west to look in the mirror and at the deeds of their governments to find the root causes for the fears, insecurity and terrorism in the world.

Under false pretences that they are acting on behalf of their people, western leaders actually have their hidden agendas.

The writer cites Diego Garcia, a paradise-like island in the Indian Ocean whose indigenous population was ruthlessly and secretly evicted from their native land by the British Government in order to make way for the Americans to build a massive military base to be used as a launching pad against Afghanistan and Iraq.
