Abstract EN

This study was conducted to identify the attitudes of female principals towards practicing sport activities in Madinah public schools and the extent to which such attitudes are impacted by some variables; namely: years of experience, educational level, academic qualification and school size.

A survey was developed and administered to a randomly selected study sample of 111 principals.

Findings revealed an overall positive attitude amongst school principals towards practicing sport activities.

Also, it seems that school principals perceive the importance of practicing sport activities in the subsequent order: physical health, followed by psychological health, then social health, then spiritual health and finally mental health.

Results showed no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of school principals towards sport activities that can be attributed to the study variables; namely: years of experience, educational level, academic qualification and school size.
