Intramuscular myxoma is a rare entity in itself, and while it has been described in several locations in the body, its presence in the tibialis anterior muscle has only been reported once in the literature.
In this case report, we present, to our knowledge, the first case of an intramuscular myxoma in the tibialis anterior muscle in the English literature, which was successfully managed with wide surgical resection.

Le myxome intramusculaire est une tumeur rare.
Il a souvent été repéré dans différents organes du corps humain, mais sa présence dans le muscle tibial antérieur n’a été documentée qu’une seule fois.
Dans ce rapport nous présentons, à notre connaissance, le tout premier cas de myxome intramusculaire dans la région du tibial antérieur décrit dans la bibliographie anglaise et qui a été traité avec succès par une large résection chirurgicale.
